Animation Errors

Animation errors are graphical mistakes made by the animators during production due to time restraints, heavy workload, or mere human error. For Promare, most errors come from miscolorings or off-model proportions. Some were corrected in the Blu-ray version while others were accidentally added or left alone afterwards. They can be compared with trailer shots or official videos released before DVD sales. Images of camrips are forbidden due to their controversy.

Before including a new image, consider the following:

• Are there obvious miscolorings in the image (ex: hair being blue instead of pink despite normal lighting)?
• Is it obvious enough to where no one could argue it's not one?
• Is a character wearing something they weren't before (ex: Galo's sleeve)? Was their original outfit immediately brought back in the next frame or shot?
• Are there areas of the body that are transparent and show the background unintentionally?
• Are the characters massively out of proportion, off model, or missing important details (ex: Lio's earring) despite being a closeup?
• Is the style change intentional (ex: Volcano scene) and necessary—making it not an error—or an issue of miscommunication (ex: miscolorings)?

If so, these are animation errors. When submitting, do not add arrows or circles to highlight the mistake as images may be added to character galleries. Things such as animation smears or the usage of 3D models would not be considered errors as they are intentional for certain movements.

Known Differences

1. Triangles being raised in Tokyo saleman's body are now larger.
2. Crowd in Galo's introduction has different colored outfits.
3. Lio-hen footage replaced movie footage when Remi is showing screens on Mad Burnish.
4. Lucia's googles were changes to teal when talking to Ignis after Matoi Tech reveal.
5. Frozen lake glare has slight position differences.
6. Pink filter added to Galo after Lio flicks flame at him.
7. Heris' notepad is slightly different color in lab.
8. Blue glasses originally given to Heris when talking to Aina.
9. Turn around of frozen Lio is closer in DVD version.
10. Eye color of Galo's eyes was changed to green in goo scene. Originally were blue.
11. Different light color on Sky Ms. when taking Galo and Lio away.
12. Different footage used in background for Bubble Collage scene.
13. Green glass in theatrical release instead of blue for Kray's tower.
14. Orange tint added to Deus X Machina's legs.
15. Rocket flames were originally orange. Changed to white.
16. Strings holding Parnassus slightly different.
17. Green inside Deus X Machina and Lio de Galon changed to darker color.
18. Less clouds when Deus X Machina begins to transform.
19. Shadows added to Kray right before Krazor-X reveal.
20. Eye opening animation of enraged Kray changed before Krazor-X.

22. Promare flames changed to ice instead in Lio de Galon fight.
23. When Matoi Decked Out is introduced, dark shadows are added behind. Furthermore, glow was added to weapon while title card moved placement of Katakana.
24. Purple ice changed to blue in Krazor-X fight.
25. Light added to Promatech Engine's middle area while Kray taunts Lio.
26. Burnish Kray depicted with different face and eyebrow colors.
27. Different red, pink, teal, and blue for Promatech activation.
