The Burnish Children are a pair of kids who are found by Lio during his imprisonment at a local Burnish institution. Akin to their brethren, both were victims of unknown amounts of torture. They are soon freed and properly fed by Lio.
Personality[]
As children, they are fairly curious about the world. They are briefly shown exploring outside of the cave hideout which results in Galo discovering their location. Both are portrayed as keeping to themselves. Rarely are they shown separated from each other, implying a close connection between them.
Appearance[]
Both kids are fairly pale and adorned in orange prison uniform. Naturally, they are shorter than their other Burnish. The boy is of blonde short hair. Bandages litter his face, leaving only one eye viewable. As for the girl, she has a brown ponytail. After escaping, they are commonly shown with a blanket.

Group in prison
After Lio and company are sent to a local institution, they are placed inside one of the cells. Here, the leader of the trio notes two children amongst the group. The group is suddenly pushed in next to them. Later on, he manages to free the two kids amongst the various Burnish during a prison breakout.
While Galo is at the frozen lake with Aina, he notices a Burnish flame in the sky. He soon goes after it. From this, he sees two Burnish children wandering outside their hiding spot. They soon sneak back inside with Galo following. This results in a campfire scene with a small group huddling around. The boy of the two kids then notices the firefighter. Before anything else can be done, Lio knocks him out and proceeds to feed everyone. They then leave after Thyma's death. It is implied the duo were recaptured during Freeze Force's attack.

Lio[]
The duo first encounter him in prison. As he observes the scene in front of him, he is shocked to find kids amongst Freeze Force's victims. Once the group manages to escape, he properly feeds them off-screen. According to some Memorial Book art, Lio gets along with children fairly well.
Each Other[]
Both are constantly seen with each other. From being huddled together and wandering outside with one another, the duo share a close connection. As to whether they are siblings or not is unknown.
