Fennel Volcano, alternatively called Mount Fennel, is the location Lio and his fellow Burnish hide after escaping incarceration. According to the collector's edition and a scene at the beginning, it is viewed as a religious monument by the Burnish.

Appearance[]
Fennel Volcano itself is that of a ginormous landscape surrounded by a desert sands. Within the volcano is magma and rock structures.
The nearby building which Lio and company hide inside is grey and suspended by pillars. Within said building is several sections for separate families. Each area features decor and hanging laundry.

Promare[]
After leaving Galo by himself at the frozen lake, Lio and company travel to the outskirts of Promepolis where a volcano can be found. Using the heat to disguise their temperature, the group hides for an unknown amount of time.
Despite this, they are soon found thanks to the usage of a mole. Said mole, with the help of Vulcan, manage to paralyze Lio with both an ice bomb and Absolute Zero Bullet. Gueira and Meis are forced to shoot Lio into the volcano as everyone else is captured.
At another time, Lio manages to free himself from his frozen prison. He immediately takes out the bullet in his chest as the anger within consumes him. Lio then flies to Promepolis with a fiery dragon in tow.

- "Fennel" refers to Prometheus, who hid flames amongst nearby fennel for humans to find.
- It is presumed that Lio was trapped inside the volcano for a week. This has not been confirmed by any staff members though.
