The Black Falcon Promare Car, otherwise known as #4 Mercedes-AMG Team Black Falcon or the Promare Car by fans, is a real life race car created in a partnership with Goodsmile Racing, Black Falcon, and Trigger. As a means to promote the European release of the film, the vehicle competed in the 2019 Spa 24 Hours endurance race[1][2][3].
Appearance[]
This vehicle features a blue paint as the base color and yellow and pink segments. The Mercedes-AMG Team Black Falcon, as one could presume, also features Promare livery. At the hood is Galo and Lio staring at each other head on. The number '04' can be seen. On the car's sides is a separate character, with Galo to the right and Lio to the left. Black Falcon's bumper displays a white 'X.' Finally, the top of the car displays the Goodsmile logo of a smiling face.
History[]
As a means to promote the European release, the vehicle competed in the 2019 Spa 24 Hours endurance race. In this particular collaboration, the Promare Car was driven alongside Vocaloid and Fate themed competitors. It's drivers were Maro Engel and Luca Stolz of Germany alongside Netherlands' Yelmer Buurman. With a class of Pro Cup, the race went on between July 27 and 28 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium[1].
At a time of about 24:00:34, the Black Falcon vehicle won third place[2][3]. It became the first itasha car to reach the podium in the Intercontinental GT Challenge and Spa 24 Hours.
