Promepolis is the city that Promare takes place in. It is stated to be part of the Independent Republic of Promepolis through both the final English script and the trivia booklet.

Appearance[]
Promepolis is a New York inspired city composed of white skyscrapers and Foresight Foundation property at the middle. Defense mechanisms such as ice lasers and fire hydrants can be seen throughout. This is a contrast from the area surrounding Kray's tower which instead features smaller businesses or pure desert. This is more easily seen through aerial shots.
History[]
Sometime after the Great World Blaze, Promepolis was formed. Due to Kray's relations with the scientific field and Galo's rescue, he was elected as Governor with Biar joining him in office. Ever since, he has had heavy ties with almost all the Burnish-related departments throughout the city. These include the Foresight Foundation, Burning Rescue, and Freeze Force. In secret, production of both the Parnassus and Promatech engine began through Dr. Ardebit's assistance via various Burnish experiments.

From this, Burnish throughout the city were captured by Freeze Force and subjugated to intense procedures without consent. Examples include Thyma and a pizzeria employee. Even those who were not Burnish were arrested due to their opposition such as Pops and Galo. With the power Kray has throughout the city of Promepolis, according to Ignis, none could ever hope to oppose him. This is what allowed Galo to become apart of Burning Rescue in the first place.
After a Burnish raid outside the city's borders, Lio resolves to avenge his captured brethren. From this, he ignites the city at the night of the Parnassus' launch. Lio also attempts to destroy Kray for his crimes against humanity. However, Galo soon intervenes due to Lio's own morality. The duo later team up in the mecha Deus X Machina designed by the late Dr. Prometh to defeat Kray once and for all. In the aftermath of Galo de Lion's creation, the world is saved with the Parnassus dropped onto Promepolis.
Trivia[]
- Promepolis seems to be partially inspired by Rochester, New York due to staff visiting during a convention[citation needed].
- According to interviews, Promepolis and the Foresight Foundation are represented by squares. Meanwhile, the Burnish are symbolized via triangles which is one half of a square. This is to represent rebellion[1].
- As shown on the advertising around the city, FBC is the local news station for Promepolis, bearing a similar logo to the Foresight Foundation's.
- In the 3rd anniversary stream, while other cities exist still, Promepolis is considered specifically a special economic zone with different regulations[note 1][2].
